Let Zoom prepare the meeting recap.

A host can enable Meeting Summary and configure it to start automatically. After the meeting, Zoom can send the recap by email and place it in the meeting chat when that chat is enabled. The host chooses the sharing scope, and participants need to be signed in to receive the summary automatically.

Use personal notes across supported apps.

My Notes starts with your own notes and can add transcription. On desktop, it can capture microphone and system audio from supported third-party meetings. Voice activity can prompt you to start a note. These notes belong to the person taking them and have their own sharing controls. Third-party capture is not supported in the mobile app.

Review a cloud recording by chapter.

Smart Recording needs cloud recording and audio transcription enabled on an eligible account. It can add chapters, highlights, and suggested next steps. Meeting Coach also provides talk-time percentages and other metrics. Check these settings separately from Meeting Summary when testing the recording workflow.

Keep each speaker connected to the work.

Review the conversation in Timeglass.

Timeglass brings recordings, transcripts, and summaries together in a meeting record. Follow a live transcript during capture, then return to decisions and next steps after the call.

These product illustrations use fictional meetings and participants. Switch views to see the speaker timeline or the video, summary, and transcript layout.

Return to the recording.

Play available video and audio beside the transcript. Use chapters and timestamps to find a passage, or review action items with captured owners, due dates, and completion status.

Find and share the call.

Search meetings and filter by date or team member. Copy the summary, download the transcript or available audio, and create a view-only link with expiry and revocation controls.

Keep the meeting in context.

Completed records show the date, start and end times, duration, and meeting platform. Connected AI tools can retrieve permitted summaries and transcript passages through Timeglass MCP.

Include the work before and after the call.

Client work continues through research, messages, documents, and revisions. Timeglass uses captured desktop activity and meetings to prepare time entries with client and project assignments. You can check descriptions, correct durations, and review assignments before submitting through your workspace's process.

Try a client call and its follow-up work.

For a team using Zoom, start by checking which meeting tools its accounts include. Test an automatically generated recap, a personal note, and a recorded call so the team understands where each record lives and who can read it.

Then follow the call into the proposal, revisions, and messages it creates. Review how Timeglass assigns that work to a client and project, and check the final time entries against your billing process.

Check access and data handling.

Zoom states that it does not use customer communications content to train its own or third-party AI models. Its SOC 2 Type II report covers Zoom Meetings and listed AI products. Summary sharing, personal-note access, and cloud-recording retention should each be checked in the account settings.

Timeglass has an independent SOC 2 Type II audit. Meeting access follows workspace permissions and sharing settings. Confirm participant notices, retention periods, and training terms for the configuration your team will use.
