Set app recording filters

Create a workspace allowlist or blocklist for recorded apps.

Set a workspace-wide allowlist or blocklist for the apps recorded by the Timeglass desktop app.

  1. Open Security settings
    Go to Settings → Security and find App Recording Filters.

    Recording filters apply across the workspace.
  2. Choose a recording mode
    Use Record All Apps for no workspace filter. Whitelist Only records the selected apps, while Blacklist Selected skips the selected apps.

    Whitelist Only is the strictest workspace policy.
  3. Choose the apps
    Select Search or add an app. Pick catalog apps or type a custom local app name.

    The catalog covers common browsers, communication tools, and work apps.
  4. Save the filters
    Review the list, then select Save app filters. The policy reaches each member’s desktop recorder.
