Create & edit projects

Add projects, edit details, mark complete, and delete.

Timeglass can suggest projects automatically, and you can add or edit projects anytime.

Create a project

  1. Open the dialog
    Click Create on the Projects page.
  2. Name it
    Give it a short title and an optional description. Specific names help Timeglass match future work.
  3. Set a target (optional)
    Add a time target in hours if you want pacing readouts. Leave it blank for no target.

Edit details

Open a project’s actions menu and choose Edit details to update its name or description.

Mark complete or reopen

Use Mark complete when a project wraps, and Reopen project if work picks back up.

Delete a project

Deleting is permanent and removes the project from reporting. Only do it for projects created in error.
