Data Access permissions

Control what each role can see in Timesheets, Projects, Meetings, and Exports.

Data Access answers the visibility question. It decides which app areas each role can open and whose data appears there.

Timesheets use fixed scopes

The Timesheets row is role-based and does not use the same dropdown as Projects, Meetings, and Exports.

• Admins see workspace time.
• Managers see managed time for their team and child teams.
• Members, External, and Viewers see own time.

Projects and meetings use data scopes

Projects and Meetings can be set to None, Own data, Team, Team + sub-teams, or Workspace. These scopes affect what a role can see in those app areas.

Exports have their own scope

Exports are controlled separately so admins can allow a role to view something in the app while limiting the amount of data that role can download.
