Detected meeting tools
The desktop app recognizes common meeting tools, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, FaceTime, and Slack huddles, when a call starts.
The consent prompt
When a meeting is detected you’ll see a Meeting detected card with a short countdown. Skip transcription for that meeting, or turn off meeting notifications entirely. This is governed by the Ask before recordingsetting.
During the meeting
A recording indicator shows while a meeting is being captured, and you can pause it at any time.
After the meeting
The transcript is saved to your work record, and your connected AI assistant can pull it up when you ask about the meeting.
Common questions
Will it record a meeting without asking?
Only if you’ve set it to. By default you get a consent prompt, and you can turn meeting notifications off entirely.
