Connect Claude or ChatGPT

Ask questions about your work in plain English over MCP.

Timeglass connects to Claude and ChatGPT over MCP, so your assistant can answer questions from the approved work record your role can access.

What you can ask

Once connected, your assistant can draw on your Timeglass work record. For example:

  • “What did the Globex account team spend the most time on last week?”
  • “Summarize where the Q3 launch project is against its budget.”
  • “Draft a standup update from my activity yesterday.”

Connect an assistant

  1. Open the connectors
    In Timeglass, go to Settings → AI Chat → Apps, or click Connect AI Assistant in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Claude or ChatGPT
    Follow the prompts to connect your assistant over MCP (the Model Context Protocol).
  3. Start asking
    Ask questions from inside Claude or ChatGPT, and Timeglass answers from your work record.

What it can see

The assistant follows your workspace’s data-access rules. It can only reach the same work you’re allowed to see in the app. Connecting an assistant never widens your permissions.
