Give Timeglass AI instructions

Add work context, timesheet rules, and sensitive-information guidance.

AI instructions give Timeglass context about your work so it groups, assigns, and describes time the way your team expects.

The three instruction types

• Work context: roles, terminology, tools, and client aliases. Up to 500 characters.
• Timesheet instructions: how to group, assign, and describe time in timesheets.
• Sensitive information: details to omit or generalize in captured activity. Describe the kind of detail, never the sensitive information itself. Up to 250 characters.

Where to set them

• Whole workspace: AI instructions at the bottom of Settings → General.
• A department or team: from Settings → Teams.
• One member: anyone who can edit a member can add work context and timesheet instructions in their Member profile under Settings → Members.
• Yourself: AI instructions under Settings → Preferences.
